Prerogatives of the Department in Charge of Logistics, Uniforms, and Accessories

1. Procurement and Distribution

  • Ensure the acquisition, management, and fair distribution of uniforms, accessories, and logistical supplies to all HACIG units.
  • Coordinate supply deliveries to regional and operational branches.

2. Inventory Management

  • Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all uniforms, equipment, and logistics materials.
  • Monitor stock levels and plan replenishment to avoid shortages or excess.

3. Standardization and Quality Control

  • Define technical specifications and quality standards for all uniforms and accessories bearing HACIG insignia.
  • Ensure consistency of colors, insignias, badges, and attire across all units.

4. Design and Approval

  • Propose, design, or update official uniforms and operational attire in accordance with institutional identity and security standards.
  • Work in coordination with the Communication and Security Councils for final approvals.

5. Maintenance and Storage

  • Establish proper storage, maintenance, and cleaning procedures for logistics and uniforms.
  • Ensure secure storage of sensitive materials such as identification gear or mission accessories.

6. Operational Logistics

  • Coordinate logistics for national events, missions, ceremonies, or interventions involving HACIG personnel.
  • Manage the transportation, accommodation, and supply needs of personnel during deployments.

7. Budgeting and Planning

  • Prepare budget forecasts related to logistics, uniform procurement, and related infrastructure.
  • Monitor expenses and ensure cost-effective acquisition and usage.

8. Fraud and Misuse Prevention

  • Track the issuance and usage of uniforms and accessories to prevent misuse, unauthorized wearing, or counterfeiting.
  • Collaborate with internal security units to enforce rules on uniform presentation and discipline.

9. Support to Humanitarian Operations

  • Provide logistical support (vehicles, tools, relief kits, etc.) for emergency or humanitarian missions.
  • Ensure personnel are well-equipped for field operations under all conditions.

10. Training and Guidance

  • Educate personnel on proper uniform etiquette, maintenance, and use of operational accessories.
  • - Provide training to logistics officers and regional representatives for consistent implementation.
