1. Investigation of Insurance Fraud

Detect, investigate, and document fraudulent practices in the insurance sector, including false claims, identity fraud, and collusion between parties.

Safeguard the rights of insured individuals by ensuring fair treatment, transparent policies, and quick resolution of disputes with insurers.
3. Monitoring Insurance Institutions

Observe and report unethical or unlawful conduct by insurance companies or brokers, especially in their dealings with clients.

Provide support to victims of insurance abuse through legal guidance, complaint filing, and, where necessary, judicial follow-up.
5. Policy Review and Advocacy

Review insurance policy frameworks and recommend reforms to regulatory bodies to ensure equity and fairness in the sector.

Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to the Executive Council, General High Commissioner, and statutory partners, both national and international.
7. Stakeholder Collaboration

Work in partnership with national insurance regulators, law enforcement, legal bodies, and consumer rights groups to ensure effective regulation.

Mediate conflicts between insurance providers and clients to achieve just and amicable resolutions.
9. Training and Certification

Train and certify insurance investigators within the HCGI/HACIG framework to ensure high standards of ethics and professionalism.
10. Cross-Border Insurance Oversight

Monitor international or cross-border insurance-related human rights violations, especially concerning migrants, workers, or disaster victims.
