Evangelical Council – Prerogatives of HCGI/HACIG
1. Spiritual Guidance and Moral Support

Provide spiritual leadership, counseling, and moral support to members and beneficiaries of HCGI/HACIG, regardless of denomination, while promoting unity and faith-based values.
2. Faith-Based Human Rights Advocacy

Promote human rights from a biblical and moral perspective, emphasizing dignity, justice, compassion, and peace as divine principles.
3. Interfaith Dialogue and Cooperation

Foster dialogue and collaboration with churches, mosques, and other religious institutions to advance peace, tolerance, and social justice.
4. Evangelical Representation

Represent the Christian faith community within the organization, ensuring that evangelical voices contribute to the shaping of HCGI/HACIG’s social and humanitarian missions.
5. Chaplains and Mission Outreach

Coordinate chaplaincy programs for prisons, hospitals, detention centers, and crisis zones to provide spiritual comfort and hope to those in distress.
6. Faith and Development Projects

Develop and support community outreach projects (education, health, counseling) rooted in Christian service and aligned with HCGI/HACIG’s mission.
7. Promotion of Ethical Conduct

Encourage ethical behavior among members and leaders, reminding them of their moral responsibilities and public testimony as human rights defenders.
8. Crisis and Trauma Response

Mobilize spiritual care teams in times of conflict, disaster, or human rights crises to offer prayer, counseling, and hope-based interventions.
9. Peacebuilding through the Gospel

Advocate peace and reconciliation using evangelical teachings, especially in conflict-prone communities, promoting forgiveness, dialogue, and healing.
10. Partnerships with Christian and Faith-Based Organizations

Build collaborations with local and international evangelical networks, NGOs, and missions working for social justice and humanitarian causes.
11. Collaborate with the Islamic Council.
